CBIO-4521 Cellular Cultures
The objective of the course is to provide basic theoretical and practical knowledge on the different techniques for cellular cultures to be identified and applied, and for students to learn about the importance with in vitro experiments as part of their research work. During the course, students receive theoretical information on techniques and methods for cellular cultures, the correct manipulation and finally, the application in citotoxicity and genotoxicity experiments in diagnosis and therapeutic tests. The practical part enables an understanding of basic materials, substrata, and culture media where cells grow, apart from learning about necessary laboratory and insulation techniques of human or animal cells and subsequent.
