MEDI-1305 Histology

This course familiarizes medical students with the organized morphological structures of the human body. Students are required to understand histology in order to comprehend the bases of the physiological and pathological processes that take place in these structures, which are the topics of other courses in the program of Medicine, such as physiology and pathology. It also aims to relate students of medicine with each of the basic tissues of the human body, its structure, specializations and activities. In addition, it provides them with elements to guide their studies by means of the different organs of the human body, giving them the tools necessary for integration with other areas of medicine.
