IELE-4011 Optimization
This course is an introduction to optimization techniques usually required to be used to solve problems in several engineering areas. It addresses non-restricted optimization problems and the main solving methods for this type of problems. It also addresses linear programming, including simplex method and applications to transport and flow problems. Finally, it will bring in basic restricted non-linear programming concepts.
