Based on the presentation of the different theories established as regards the legal nature of financial activity and the State’s authority to intervene, and as a result of its sovereignty over issues relating to currency and credit, this course studies and analyzes the concrete manifestation of this intervention through the state entities in charge of regulating, controlling and monitoring the system, with emphasis on the jurisprudence of high courts.

It includes the criteria for the evaluation of investment projects. It is carried out based on the study of basic mathematical models used to learn the value of money over time and other related topics.
