School of Management

The Faculty of Administration of the Universidad de los Andes was created in 1972 with the objective of educating and training leaders capable of creating, analyzing, transforming and developing private, public and social organizations in Colombia and other countries around the world.

The achievement of this objective has led the Faculty to develop a range of undergraduate, graduate and executive education programs that are characterized by their academic quality, the outstanding preparation of their professors and the recognition of their graduates.

The excellence and high quality standards of the Faculty of Administration of the Universidad de los Andes have allowed it to obtain the most important recognitions at national and international level. At the national level, its undergraduate degree in Administration and the Master's degree in Administration have the highest accreditation of high quality from the National Accreditation Council (CNA).

At the international level, the Faculty has continuously obtained and endorsed the accreditations of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for the MBA program. These three accreditations, known as the “Triple Crown,” are considered the most important and globally recognized, placing the Faculty in the top 1% of the most prestigious business schools in the world. This characteristic represents advantages for students and graduates due to the experience of structured learning through relevant curricula, international recognition of the programs, access to the labor market, relationships and alliances with public, private and social organizations, and international agreements and conventions with different universities around the world.

On the other hand, the Faculty is part of different international networks, both at an academic and organizational level, which offer its students permanent exposure to the dynamics of knowledge generation on cutting-edge topics and the relationship with the public and private sectors.

All these initiatives demonstrate the Faculty's interest in contributing to the country through the construction, appropriation, teaching and dissemination of knowledge for the innovative and sustainable development of all types of organizations.
