IELE-3634 Telemedicine
The course’s objectives are: i- Capturing the attention of the participants through the proper information relative possible uses of new information and communication technologies, aimed at improving health care assistance and coverage of health care services. ii- Setting the methodological bases to study relevant, useful and efficient telemedicine applications. iii- Analyzing the most interesting experiences worldwide and others being efficiently developed in this area. iv- Understanding implementation possibilities and limitations. It addresses topics such as: Telemedicine general aspects, existing telemedicine technologies , Communications Technologies, representative experiences, evaluation of quality technique, Financial, profitability and sustainability assessment, Protocols and regulations, Legal Aspects, Health Systems and TIC, Hospital information systems and information networks.
