IELE-4104 Transient and High Voltage

The objective of this course is to provide students with an introduction in the field of high speed transient electromagnetic phenomena that take place in power systems due to atmospheric phenomena. This way students can apply mathematical methods for their analysis and determination of protections against surges with these characteristics.
