CEPER
The Center for Journalism Studies [CEPER- Centro de Estudios en Periodismo] is an academic and development entity of the Arts and Humanities School at Universidad de los Andes. Since 1991 the center has been leading research projects on journalism and media, producing digital media pieces, offering academic programs focusing on the future of journalism, and providing consultancy services on media to public and private organizations.
Universidad de los Andes believes that the quality of democracy and public life is closely related to excellence in journalism and media. In view of the foregoing, CEPER was created with the belief that education in journalism should happen at the graduate level, and that journalism research requires a multidisciplinary approach.
