Chemistry Department
Since the foundation of the University, the Department of Chemistry has been present in the development of the various academic and research programs of all departments and centers that require the contribution of this science for application to the knowledge of materials and the environment. In recent years, the Department has been developed in an independent manner and its teaching and research activity has been consolidated. Our Department has achieved a superior level during this period, by creating research groups and developing activities in conjunction with first level centers, both national and international. This has enabled the Department to integrate its Faculty with significant involvement in research, which translates into benefits for their teaching practice.
Furthermore, the physical installations, and its equipment and supplies allow the Department to efficiently support investigation works related to theoretical and practical aspects of Chemistry.
